What is cellulite?
Cellulite is the herniation of subcutaneous fat within fibrous connective tissue that manifests as skin dimpling and modularity, often on thighs and buttocks and sometimes the abdomen. Cellulite occurs in most females. Around 85-98% of women can be affected by it. It can result from a complex combination of factors ranging from hormones or diet to heredity.
Am I suitable candidate for the Cellulite Treatment?
If you would like to improve the appearance of your cellulite then you are a perfect candidate for our bespoke cellulite plan. If you wish to contour unwanted bulges, tighten and tone your skin and reduce disproportionate fatty areas, you will also gain brilliant results.
What causes cellulite?
There are certain lifestyle factors which contribute to deposition of fat cells such as lack of exercise and bad kind diet. Too tight clothing that restricts the blood flow for longer intervals can also lead to cellulite. Hormones and genetics also play a key role in formation of cellulite.
If you lose weight, will you automatically lose cellulite?
The appearance of fat cells decreases as we lose weight. So losing weight will definitely help your cellulite to look better, but it never completely goes. As you will gain weight again, the cellulite will come back again in those exact same areas unfortunately the best way to stop this from happening is to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Are there any risks associated with the Bespoke Cellulite Plan?
The treatments we use in our cellulite treatment are very safe and pose no long-term health hazards This is a non-surgical, non-invasive treatment with no downtime needed so you can get straight back to your normal daily activities. All possible side effects will be explained during your consultation. Side effects usually consist of slight redness or bruising.
What is classed as an area?
With our bespoke cellulite plans we always price them in sessions of doubles because it’s very rare you will only need 1 area of cellulite reduction. For example the front of your thighs is classed as 2 area’s, the back of your thighs is classed as 2 area’s, inner thighs and outer thighs treated is 4 area’s ect…
How many sessions will I need?
During your consultation before your treatment begins the therapist will assess the areas affected and advise you on how severe your cellulite is and we will be able to come up with an estimate of recommended sessions. Everybody is different so everyone will need to be treated uniquely which is why we offer bespoke packages to tailor to your body type, grade of cellulite and needs, results and the speed of results will differ depending on the person. On average we advise between 5 – 12 however, results can be seen instantly after the first session.
Does it hurt?
This is a non-invasive treatment there is no pain.
